    FAS | Free Alongside Ship

FAS means the seller delivers the goods to the buyer when:

The goods are placed alongside the vessel nominated by the buyer at the named port of loading or
The seller purchases the lot so delivered for delivery to the buyer.
Risk of loss or damage to the shipment passes when the goods are placed alongside the vessel, and the buyer bears all costs from that point. FAS requires the seller to carry out export customs clearance.

    EXW | Exworks

EXW means that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer when the goods are placed at the buyer's disposal at a named place (factory or warehouse), and the named place may be the seller's premises or Are not.

To deliver the goods, the seller does not need to load and unload the goods onto the vehicle, nor does he need to go through export customs procedures.
Delivery occurs – risk is transferred – when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer (not yet loaded on the vehicle).
